Technical parameters

The paper has to be prepared for printing on A4 paper (209.90 mm × 297.04 mm). Margins of 30.5 mm should be used on left and right sides and 43.5 mm on top and bottom of the paper and on all pages. (Textheight is 210 mm and textwidth is 149 mm.) Paper length is limited to twelve A4 pages including text, figures, tables and references. The text, except the title and the abstract, is written in two columns. Column width is 72 mm (space between columns is 5 mm). A 10 pt font size should be used. The text should be single-spaced and has to be left and right justified. First line of section’s first paragraph is not indented all subsequent paragraph lines are indented five spaces. (The technical requirements will be satisfied automatically if you use the LaTeX sample.) We prefere full coloured figures and tables. Pictures, graphs, tables and mathematical formulas must be numbered in order in which they appear in the paper. References are numbered in alphabetical order.

Submission

Manuscript should be submitted as either MS Word attachment or LaTeX attachment together with PDF sample via email to the Editor of Acta Mechanica Slovaca, Miroslav Badida, at actamechanica@tuke.sk. All figures, style files and any supplement files needed to process the paper.
