Annals of Animal Science is the wide-spectrum journal, included manuscripts from the different areas of animal science discipline, that may be of significance for international readers. Published papers are submitted not only by Polish authors, but also from many other countries.

Annals of Animal Science is open access journal that publishes papers which are accessible to an international audience and indexed by many abstracting and full-text databases, for instance Thomson-Reuters. The JCR 2010 Impact Factor of the Journal is 0.209.

Annals of Animal Science accepts original papers and reviews from the different topics of animal science: genetic and farm animal breeding, the biology, physiology and reproduction of animals, animal nutrition and feedstuffs, environment, hygiene and animal production technology, quality of animal origin products, economics and the organization of animal production.
